Account and privacy
Your Google data and privacy
What we read, what we never do, and how to remove it.
Your Search Console and Analytics data is yours. Here's exactly what DiscoverGap does with it, in plain words. The full details are in our privacy policy.
What we read
- The list of sites in your Search Console and your permission for each.
- For the sites you add: clicks, impressions, CTR, position, pages, searches, countries, devices and dates for Search, Discover and Google News.
- If you connect Analytics: your property list, and visits and engagement for the property you choose.
What we never do
- Change anything in your Google account, Search Console, Analytics or site. Access is read-only.
- Sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
- Read your email, files or anything else in your Google account.
Who else sees it
Only you, and anyone you send a client report link to. To build your report, summarised figures are sent to our AI provider to write your plan, and your top searches to the provider that collects public Google results for us. Both may use them only to provide that service to us.
Removing it
- Remove a siteIts figures are deleted.
- Disconnect your Google accountWe cancel our access with Google and delete that account's sites and figures.
- Delete your accountFrom Plan and billing. Everything goes, straight away.
Figures older than 16 months are deleted automatically, as are a site's figures if it hasn't updated for 90 days.
